Kidstart is an innovative shopping loyalty programme for parents and extended family to build future savings for their children.
Families can earn cashback on purchases they would make anyway from 1000s of well-known retailers and put these funds into a savings account for their children.
Vital to the Kidstart programme is timely email updates to members about new retailers joining the programme and special offers.
Pancentric's Enabler solution has been used by Kidstart since the start of their business. We were initially appointed as their Email Service Provider (ESP) in February 2008.
The email programme has scaled significantly over the 17 years of partnership. In the year Kidstart was founded, Enabler delivered a modest 1m emails for the organisation per annum. In 2025, this number has increased to tens of millions of emails per annum.

A high standard of email deliverability is crucial to ensure maximum reach for the programme and timely receipt of emails.
Many of the special offers are time limited so timelineness is key.
To optimise deliverability, a range of authorisation and authentication measures have been undertaken over the years including a dedicated sending sub-domain, Sender Policy Framework (SPF), DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM), Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting, and Conformance (DMARC)
Emails range from retailer updates to special offers to personalised savings updates.
Kidstart has a strong focus on personalisation and has made extensive use of Enabler's dynamic merge fields.
Email performance is strong with open rates consistently in the 30%-40% range.
