Digital Transformation Event

Digital Transformation

As Digital Transformation is a topic of great interest for the Insurance and financial industry, we wanted to provide information and insights about the best ways to approach a business transformation. This involved delving into research techniques and various technologies that can support needs in a digital and customer focused era. From strategy to implementation, there are many components to consider, and having the right agency partner to drive and enhance a digital agenda is essential.

Event Partners

With the core focus of the talks being Digital Transformation, we partnered with our client, Jelf, and customer experience management software, Sitecore, to get businesses focused on their own transformations. As one of the UK’s leading advisers in Insurance, Risk Management and Employee Benefits, Jelf recently launched their new website in the Sitecore Experience platform. This made them perfectly positioned to discuss their experience so far and the benefits of the Sitecore platform.

Naturally, our other partner for this event was Sitecore. As they are a leading provider in Digital Experience platforms, they provided specialist insight into the technology and how it can support Digital Transformation agendas

The Talks

The day started with a talk from Pancentric’s own Design Director, Matt Corrall, who discussed the importance of research and design when kick-starting digital transformation programmes. The talk also highlighted the importance of a Service Blueprint and the use of personas to ensure a streamlined and customer focused digital transformation process.

The audience next heard from Paul Williams, Marketing Director at Jelf, who discussed the first 12 months of Jelf’s Digital Transformation journey. With the focus of ‘Deliver Digital’, Paul described the steps that Jelf have taken so far to become a more digitally and customer focused business. He then went on to discuss future plans, and alluded to how they will continue to push their digital agenda in the coming months.

Next up, Pancentric’s Head of Digital Marketing, Carl Lawrence, who talked about the importance of creating a complete brand experience for customers, ensuring businesses are not producing disconnected interactions across multiple channels. Utilising technologies like Sitecore, the audience were shown how businesses can move to building experiences that are personalised and are truly able give the customer what they need.

Finally, we heard from Charles Bell, Director of Sales Engineering at Sitecore. Charles provided an introduction to the Sitecore Experience platform and how its features can support Digital Transformation programmes. A key pillar of his talk was addressing the relevant topic of GDPR, and how the Sitecore platform can provide the necessary support and components to ensure compliance.
